BlusteryA Poem by Samuel H. LudkeWinds carry us away, carry us to a better day. Back when love was all we had, back when folks weren't so sad. Back when men held the door, back when couples used to soar. There was no internet or Facebook, you used to catch fish by the hook. If you said hi and waved at me, I'd say hi back two times or three. The reality is we've gone to far, we really no how to raise the bar. But without love there is no point, soon we will be legalizing the joint. So I wish the wind would take me far, I don't need my phone or even my car. Let's fly away so high, see your neighbor, tell them hi!
