Day Men

Day Men

A Poem by samuel foxtrot

I line the wake of day
Empty and afraid
Unwilling and alone
And such the weight

Whether it is now
or given time
Long is never a choice
Until the beast of living
Pulls me awake

To these men I say
No more than this
A nature spoken true
and solace my only regard unto.

this is brilliant, but feels unfinished. Still, I like it a lot.
