chapter 3

Stacey wanted so bad for all of this to be a dream. But she knew sadly that it wasnt. The next day Stacey's mother told stacey that Abby, the dog who was eleven now, the same age as Stacey, was having a hard time walking up her grandparents stairs to enter their house. Stacey was sad at this thought but her mother continued to talk. Stacey grandfather brought Abby to the vet and they had to put her down because she would not have been able to walk very soon and she was in pain. Stacey cried for over 3 hours and by the time supper came Stacey felt like she could puke if she ate. Stacey stopped crying for about an hour and then when she layed in bed she cried herself to sleep. The next day Stacey didnt want to go to school but she did. The whole day trying to hold back her tears. One day her life was fantastic and the next it was falling apart.
