when tragedy strikes.

this is a poem about losing someone close.wether it be a family member or a friend.wether it be a death or your missing someone.in my case its about a slow ending to long friendship.

i wake up everyday just to see your face.

i lived for your simpathy and freedom you chased.

i was there anytime you needed me.

i wished you would see.

 

it was you that brightened my day.

even when it seemed so pointless and grey.

you told me you would never leave me alone.

but then,u treated me like your bone.

 

dragging me along every were you went.

it made me feel out of place, bent.

i get it! you needed me.

but u always seemed to flee.

 

your mind would leave and go somewere in space.

maybe you were thinking of his face.

after a quick yell, your mind was back.

but it seemed like u were falling of track.

 

once you got your nasty man,

you kicked me in a can.

you made new friends.

bad ones,ones that smoked weed and drank.they followed bad trends.

 

i tried to tell you,warn you away.

but you turn my words of love into words of hate,which darkens my day.

you fell more and more in love.

a love that couldnt be helped with a shove.

 

 

with each day that went by we got further and further apart.

it seemed like you were trying to dart...

away from me.it broke me.

i wish you could see.

 

              the unfortunate end.
