Now That You're Gone

Now That You're Gone

A Poem by Samantha Tamburello
"

overall emotion behind someone's passing(from my perspective)

"
You know it rains a lot harder now that you're gone,
the sun doesn't shine as bright,
the winter's are longer and longer,
the wind blows so cruelly now that you're gone.

People talk quieter now that you're gone.
The conversations blurred,
small-talk over depth,
the world is so unclear now that you're gone.

At night my heart races now that you're gone.
I overthink your life,
your short-lived life...
I wonder if you're aware that you are now gone.
