The Ring Of Fire

The Ring Of Fire

A Poem by Samantha Rose
"

Description at end...

"
The ring of fire
is full of adolescent liars
they won't say what's on their mind
they'll store it inside
too much stress
yet no sign of their mess
responsibilities that mocked
so they keep tightly locked
pressure builds up
then, we erupt.

Description- I wrote this a long time ago but it is still one of the pieces that I'm most proud of. You can interpret it however you want, but to me, this poem is about how people my age have an unhealthy tendency to keep our feelings bottled up inside. Eventually, it all becomes too much and we break down.
