Happy (an acceptance)

Happy (an acceptance)

A Poem by Samrat Rudra
"

We miss so much in our life, but should still be happy.

"
When I was happy
I didn't bother to care
that people are dying, orphans are crying
I satisfied that I am here...

Here so happy and cherish and good
But still I wish for more,
But what about the beggars on street
or people who died ashore..

I am so happy but still I am crying
that so much I didn't get
Think about the soldiers who die
Their funerals don't have a bed

Blood is shed, sacrifices made
It's how they leave their loved
So when I compare them with my life
I am happy and its not so hard...

The first part seems selfish and cruel. I kinda agree but the message you're sending to me is that you want more knowing that you're safe and sound. The 4th line in the 1st stanza contradicts this line, "But still i want more." Be clear with your ideals and goals in making poems. No bad feelings here.

Well it is a process of gradual realization.... so that is why it is like that.
