Mother, Mother

Mother, Mother

A Poem by Samantha Grace
"

My mom and I used to have a lot of issues, personal things. Luckily we've been able to develop a healthy relationship. *yay!*

"

The pain in my heart is a burning rage

All this time being trapped in myself much like a cage

Never knowing if you’ll be in my life

All this s**t causes me so much strife

You are always supposed to be there for me

Knowing I’ll never have the mother you’re supposed to be

You are the start of all the problems I’ve had

I’m always so angry, so lonely, so sad

You’ve never been there to see me through

You don’t know how much I’ve missed you

The pain I feel is an indescribable mad

My lonely thoughts are all I’ve ever had

Life can be cruel. Sadly. But, God gave us writing so that we may administer therapy and self-healing unto ourselves in a healthy and constructive way. Others, also, may be helped. God bless you!
