Untitled Number Two

Untitled Number Two

A Poem by Samantha Grace
"

Written 11/8/2006. Sometimes I don't even make sense to myself (haha) but hopefully you'll find something in it.

"
  • It's all gray

    In the sense of sanity,

    None is present

It's all a blur of motionless pigment

    Dancing in an imaginary realm

    Catching glimpses of faith

    Born into disease,

    It's not far

    From what is me

    Breathing into my soul

    Clutching my genes

    Mixing high-strung emotions

    A delicate imbalance

    Forcing it's way to chaos

Misunderstood for all I'm not worth

    And everything you aren't

    We all are

But it works the other way as well

    Grasping my breath

Though that not which I breathe

    Is it lost, hope?

    No, not forever

    Only for now

    I cannot change this

    Only my surroundings

    So I shall, within time
