sequel?A Poem by Parker Pearlread my piece "requiem? absurd!" first. this is kind of a follow up.just past twenty's sun
i was at your best converging our chests inhibitions shed
but as our good day took phantom flight what started with a kiss
ended in your sheets gown well past your feet
your lips dropped it on mine
so as better night
ended on our hands
there in my dryest drought
in the throes of our
last coffee, our last call
i kind of said your name "our season's almost up"
