It's not funny as a phobia

It's not funny as a phobia

A Poem by Sammypookins
"

I am terrified of clowns and hate them with a passion, they are just wrong!

"

False faced,
Demon eyed.
Painted on smile,
Too big to be true.
No happiness here.
What hides behind such smiles?
What creeps inside dark and sly?

This is a phobia I have never understood, but you make a good case for it. :)

Has a very eerie quality to it that is extremely evocative.

Well Sam, I can officially say "I love this poem." I can relate to it. I hate clowns. They terrify me (probably because I watched IT as a child). You take all the reasons behind my fear and make them so clear and precise. Thank you for this. --Anna
