Shattered pieces everywhere.
Tiny cuts drew through my skin.
Too hurt to move.
Made of tears.
I never loved like that again.
Could never trust another soul.
Not to break me, like you did.
You lied with kisses.
Lied with touch.
You lied with love too many times.
All I could do,
To breathe,
To live.
Did you believe those lies yourself?

Ah Samuel Samuel Samuel... niiiice - you know me, I'm not a poetic kind of fellow (too many frilly shirts and prancing about lamenting hither and thither) but this I like. It reads the way people feel when they have been shat on from a great height - a feeling I know only too well. Nice one chick, I thought about printing this off and nailing to my ex-gf's forehead but I only had 'No More Nails' in the house and I couldn't wait for it to dry so I smiled and wallowed in self-pity for a bit instead. Good work chick - good to see you back.
