Strangers Story

Strangers Story

A Poem by Lily

Sometimes
I look around
Watching through a glass window
Longing to touch
Something someone
Smiling laughing with eyes of sadness
Yet
They never know
Myself I deny
Of whats right in front of me
Painful sighs
I breath because I long for something unknown
Strangers pass by
With a strange story
I wonder Sometimes
Could they be connected
As one
Or is one for yourself
But still I watch through a window
Untouching
Unknowing
Hoping for someone to notice
My story
My flaws
For once to be connected
To a unknown life flow
To be once again
Alive
Connected
Ignited

There is a connectivity to emotional yearning. A common thread that intertwines life's tapestry..You can push these threads away for moments...However they seem to have a life of their own and they push the hell back because in-spite of our imperfections we were born to love and be loved...To feel we belong to something beyond self...This poem strikes a sensitive familiar note...Thank you for sharing it, Lily...
