Why I ask you? 
Why do you enjoy my pain? 
Twisting my arm to do you’re bidding 
Slowly you want to break me 
Laughing your evil laugh 
You tell me 
I can never escape 
Crawling back to freedom 
Takes so much of me 
Slowly the bruises in my heart can never heal 
You will always be there 
Whispering in my ear 
You can run 
But never hide 
You are my snow white queen 
You never know your words haunted me 
I can’t escape the twisted ways 
You think of me 
Wake up in a dream 
Frozen fear 
All your hands on me 
You belong to me 
My snow white queen 
I hear 
You’re just like me 
Don’t scream anymore my love 
All I want is you 
I can’t save your life 
You stand there as I bleed 
Watching as my world divides 
Hiding in the dark from you

After reading all 7 of your published poems, I came back to this one. Ticking and Broken Smile are also nicely done. The agony of protagonists’ emotions…can leave you in an emotional conundrum. Only we can control our flight…I find the writers expressions easy read and to relate to as the process the emotional darkness manifests self discovery and understanding…Nicely penned Lily, I'll need to pay more attention to your writing
