Darkness

Sitting here in the dark 
I watch alone 
With their joy 
And happiness 
On their faces 
Slowly 
The darkness 
Surrounds me 
With this monster 
It builds up inside 
Telling me to feel 
Hate for you 
Yet unknown 
You don’t know I stand over you 
Holding your life in my hands 
The thread of life 
I can break 
Power in this beauty 
The misty air flowing slowly 
Takes your breath 

Holding time still.
