Abandonment

Abandonment

A Poem by Sammie Thor Camp
"

Just a small haiku that I came up with a while ago. Hope you like it.

"
Where did you go to?
Leaving me cold and alone.
Please come back won't you?

thank you
a haiku is very simple. It's a 5, 7, 5. Meaning the first line has 5 syllables, and the second line has 7 syllables, and the last line had 5 syllables.
thanks again... (:

I don't know much about haikus, but even if it was freeverse or anything else, it's incredibly good. I can almost feel my heart hurting when I read this. I can hear a voice pleading, weeping, the heart torn in pain. Scared, alone . . . forgotten. The power in its simplicity moves me. In essence, this poem feels. That's good work
