chapter 5

Josh POV

After we are done eating we talk for a bit, then Sara’s dad came over and lights the fire, and I already know what Sara is going to do

“Hey dad can me Kyle and josh go inside and watch a movie? I’m kind of board” asked Sara

And of course he said yes so we went inside,

Sara why do you always do this I ask a bit annoyed

“You know I hate fire,” said Sara

“Well can we at least light the fire place?” whined Kyle

  “Ok fine but you guys have to make the popcorn and grab the drinks,” said Sara

 

 

Sara POV

 

As Kyle and josh walk out of the room, I turn to the fire place and look around now where is that lighter I say to myself I look all around the room but I can’t seem to find it. I need to light the fire or josh will complain so I think of other ways to light the fire then I hear crackling, I spin around and look at the fireplace and it was lit why was it lit, I did not light it, WHAT the heck just happened?

 

 

Kyle POV

 

As me and Kyle walk in to the kitchen I hear Sara mutter to her self

“Now where that lighter josh grabs the popcorn and puts it in the microwave and I grab us drinks, when we are done we go into the living room and see Sara staring at the fire in awe

“Sara are you ok?” asked Josh

“N- no I-I’m n-not, stuttered Sara

  What’s the matter? I asked

“Well I couldn’t find the lighter and I was thinking of a way to light it and I heard a crackling noise I turned around and the fire was lit and I did nothing I think I’m going crazy,?” Sara said flustered

 Really? Something happened to me as well I could have sworn I heard Snowy talking to me I said

“Me two I think I flew like 2 feet in the air,” said josh

   Why are all these weird thing happening to us I wondered out loud

Ya maybe it’s just ou-

“Kyle, Josh it’s time for you to go home,” said Sara’s dad Rick interrupting Josh

“Bye guys want to meet up tomorrow and talk asked Sara

I knew what she talking about she wanted to figure out what happed today,

Me and josh both said yes and we were meeting at a place called the restaurant

“See you guys tomorrow,” said Sara

As we walk outside

I walk over my mom’s car and get in the back and lay down and drift off to sleep no thought’s what so ever of supernatural happening’s

 

 

Josh POV

 

When I wake up in the morning the first thought that came to my head was

Was last night a dream I walk down stairs and into the kitchen

“Morning josh,” said my mom

Morning I mumble grabbing a bowl for my cereal

After I’m done eating I go to my room and check my phone and I have a voice mail form Sara

“Hey josh don’t forget we are meeting at the restaurant today,”

  Oh right we were meeting up at the restaurant its run by a really nice guy his name is Camron he always gives us root beer floats he was like a friend but older.

I get dressed and grab my backpack and my phone

MOM IM GOING TO MEET SARA AND JOSH SOMEWHERE

“OK HAVE FUN,” my mom yelled back

I walk down the sidewalk thinking about yesterday I guess it wasn’t a dream because I was meeting Sara and Josh to talk about yesterday

 

5 minutes later

 

As I walk into the restaurant I look around the place and I see two elderly people and one guy just sitting by himself in the corner and his face was hidden by a shadow he was kind of creepy,

I sit down in the spot where we always sit near the door Sara and Kyle weren’t there yet so I grab my phone and check the time Sara was going to be hear before Kyle because she is closer and Kyle will come last because he lives the farthest and as if on cue Sara walks through the door and slides in to the booth across from me

“So what’s up josh,” asked Sara

 Not much

“Anything weird happen?” she asked

  Nope nothing

“Ok I will go and order us food,” said Sara getting up

 

 

Sara POV

 

I get up and walk over to the counter and wait for to Camron to come and take my order so I sit on the bar stool and look at the menu

“Hey Sara how are you?” I hear someone say

 Oh hey Camron I didn’t notice you there

Camron is the guy who runs the restaurant he is older than us but he’s cool he has blond hair and his eyes are so brown they almost looked gold.

“Well that’s good would you like to order your food?” asked Camron

 Of course I said

“Ok will it be what you guys always have?” asked Camron

Yes please I say and walk back to the table and Kyle was there oh your hear I said and sit down across from them and we talk a bit about nothing In particular and then are we talked about yesterday

“So do you guys think what happened yesterday was real asked Kyle

“I think it was real,” said josh

Me to because a talking dog, flying 2 feet in the air and a fire lighting itself is not just our imagination

“What’s not your imagination?” asked Camron placing our food and drink on the table

 “Oh nothing,” lied josh

“Ok guys keep your little secret’s,” said Camron smirking

We started to eat our food

“You know what it smells weird in hear,” said josh

Ya I smell it to I said

“It kind of smells like static like when your clothes are full of static,” said Kyle

We finish eating our food and I look around the room and the two elderly people have left and the only other person hear was a guy sitting by himself in the corner and he was staring at us

Guys that guy over there is staring at us I whisper

“I know he is creeping me out,” whispered Josh

When Camron came to take our dishes he seemed in a rush

“Ok guys that will be $5.00,” Said Camron

“Ok guys I will buy,” said Kyle

I glance over at the creepy guy and he has something in his hand it was bright blue and glowing, he through it at Camron

CAMRON WATCH OUT I yell and push him out of the way and whatever was in that guys hand hit me in the back and it felt like someone was shocking the life out of me I fell to the floor I tried to get up but everything went black.
