These words are thoughts, which blossom within my heart,

are also the roses left for you to pick and keep.

I have realized that we never appreciate the seasons of our lives

until it dawns on us that they have escaped our grasp;

For all things have fragility in life, except true love,

it grows stronger by time’s passing.

And all things are mortal, but if I have to live indefinitely,

I would live in a dream which would connect your soul

to mine, without the chaos of our world.

I have rejected all yesteryear's for you longing

 

and hoping for a future dream together.

I also have hoped that in the wee hours,

your illuminated shadow,

will overcome my darkness with a sunrise.

Even if the sun sets over its lonely hill

giving way to a black coal sky,

you can still see the dreamer in me.

And if we are afraid to show this love know that light

will dissipate any darkness or fear.

For this silent love of mine might go unnoticed

but it will always bring a surprise to light.

I have concluded that all things have secrets

except a shared heart,

it whispers love phrases in the open.

I also have found out that it takes a soft breath

to start a fire, just as you started an invisible one within.

And if it takes ink to write love letters, I would rather write

them with my blood flow.

And if I bleed to death, I know that death can change

the mortal moments but not our eternity.

Well I am a curious guy always out there reading all sorts of writes. So today I end up visiting your page. And it was a delight. I always read an initial work of a writer to begin with. ^^ First thoughts on the poem itself. I love the structure and the flow that is maintained throughout the poem is superb. Credit goes to the fine vocabulary you have displayed here. I must also add that they a good job in invoking vivid imagery. This write packed quite the punch. I loved the tone that changes ever so slightly in intervals as the poem proceeds further down. You have expressed a lot of phases and the end had definitely is one I would call fitting. People have already expressed and interpreted about the write here. I understand it as well. Just thought I would share my views on how the flow and tones felt to me as I read it. ^^ Thank you for sharing ^^

This one a beautiful piece of work ... I'm truly in love with it ... I'm not exaggerating or something but this is something that's been on my mind but just not flowing into form of words I'm so glad you've penned this down ...
absolutely loved this line to bits and pieces ... " And if I bleed to death, I know that death can change the mortal moments but not our eternity " I do not know how many people can actually connect to this personally , but for me this was very heart touchingly overwhelming ..... Love and death, fire and blood: their intensity runs hand in hand and almost bisects that is why love seems to be a incendiary for exploding .............

This is deeply emotional, a tribute to the ardent depth of your descriptions of the feelings. Love and death, fire and blood: their intensity runs parallel and almost bisects -- almost. Maybe that is why love seems to be a catalyst for exploding peripherals, like Chinese fireworks, chrysanthemums of color blooming blood-red in the dark. Another triumph.

Hi Sami. I don't often write prose, but I know when i'm reading an outstanding write, and this one definitely falls in that category. A beautiful write about a special love; deep and enduring. Flow is good; line to line transition and breaks are well done. Very nice rhythm. Deep expression of emotion. Vivid is this love and romance that shows how much she is cherished; that she is truly your life blood. I especially like these lines:

"I concluded that all things have secrets, except a shared heart,
it whispers love phrases in the open."

These lines are lovely... sharing a heart - becoming one, that's love. True love is powerful and it will last through eternity... even death cannot extinguish it. Excellent closing lines. Well penned. Write on!

Wow... I agree to the message of this poem. Love is for a moment. As they always say better to have loved. Tell some one you love them and don't let that moment pass you by who know what eternity will bring but as for one day with out them is worse than even the deepest wound and bare.
I have an amazing talent for speaking the language of your heart and I can't wait to read more of your works.
