Satan-yahoA Poem by Sami KhalilThe Butcher and War Criminal of Israel My pen is mightier than his weapons; yours too My voice is sharper than a two-edged sword An English SonnetSatan-yaho by Sami Khalil An English Sonnet… All is quiet in the silence of night As my mind flirted with darkened shadows Moms creeping on with baby carriages’ flight Behind hearses of pain and loss arose. Blithe chronicles of crowded and blurry Faces undefined of mystic strangers Countless deaths tangled in mess and fury Strolling my thoughts, clear and present dangers. Pure indulgences of Satan-yaho’s bliss A cold embrace of revengeful mad strain Discarding daises in the sacred abyss Tattered longings of genocide and pain. I, for one see, a sky so grand, broken As the black nights approach the dawn’s token. © 2025 Sami KhalilReviews
