Emptiness at lastA Poem by Sami KhalilLove fills in empty spaces; without it comes emptiness...Emptiness at last by
Sami Khalil I bring it to cloture- myself and I, in lockstep, this madness of sundry battering, of aggregated reasoning, panned by critics through sieves, reflecting storms, rolling through pellucid waters. From vintage points, to my vantage ones, beggars for love dwell, unborn as the days proffering handouts, of spoken names, of frescoed faces. I bring it to cloture- netting all lives lost, notated and played back, with debt incurred, but I can’t close the spaces. Emptiness at last! Emptiness at last. © 2023 Sami KhalilReviews
