Sami Khalil If I had my druthers, writer will be… Surging profusely with inner visions By aflutter banners hoisting poetry Imparting gentle hearts with provisions. Reaching beneath the silken threads of love Then soaring high where eagles cast their eyes Painting days like garden beds strewn above Voyaging to the land of fantasy’s highs. Take me where nature prepares a sweet feast Profusion presented to a child’s heart Seldom my watchful eyes tire in the least West or by East, I grasp beauty’s part. I close my eyes, picturing you near by Sparingly lament a rapturous sigh. © 2024 Sami KhalilReviews
