Hail to the mysteryA Poem by Sami KhalilHail to the mystery by Sami Khalil Ambrosial winds drifted across the lands As fog quivered amongst fragrant shadows Droplets of mist stippled enraptured bands Cleaving winter, crowning spring-time meadows. Through this paradigm shift do souls… murmur Of jagged mountain-tops where snow melts down To awned wheatgrass and dales’ cattle herder Ablaze in Nature’s gems and celestial crown. Hush! Hush! For I hear myriad of song-bird Singing as one in action and repose Awakening earth’s slumber, canvas conferred Neither drift nor sentience-waning ever slows. Hail to the mystery of vibrant re-birth Nay blurred minds can gingerly do unearth. © 2024 Sami KhalilReviews
