Decide your noble goals...

It loomed over…the silvery skies,

high from prying eyes;

misty mornings of enamored clouds;

cotton fluffs embracing the orange glow.

On higher tree tops, soft whistles chirped dutifully.

Wandering thoughts called mysteriously

virtual eyes beauty-courtesy of lily lovers,

tender jewels, little babies fondled at birth,

weaned to adulthood from milk.

 

It loomed large…that heavenly peace,

richer by the hour, taking turns

in the apogee; the top shelf of publications.

Turn slightly that head with a smile;

life is ours to decide, to walk towards the stage,

with or without crowd’s cheers.

For the moment, let us belong, to get hooked

on noble goals, for all frames fall without good hooks.

It loomed not…across battering rams.

saw on a nature show - those rams do it to show their prowess and win the females. this should be read at graduation commencements. we must choose that stage carefully as well as the walls we wish to hang our accomplishments upon. truly noble hooks will never let go with time nor will they garner the applause that is warranted and certainly not called for. in lieu of recent atrocities we must be careful of the kind of milk we are nurturing our young with and when it's time to ween them from it ... :)

Oh yes, peace, love, understanding...working together for a common purpose...the good of everyone.
There are a majority of people who really need to read and take heed of this poem.

Get hooked on noble goals. What a beautiful thought in such challenging times we find ourselves living in. Let us set our own noble goals and stick to them.
