WeatherA Poem by Sami KhalilMultitude of things are affected by the weather.Weather by
Sami Khalil Now that I’m older, clambering out of bed, I feel more the exasperation, when skies of no shoring, rain cats and dogs. In the solace of the moment, ripples on the water seem like crystal balls, across the quays as ships disappear in the distance. Strange how birds, in reverence, Quiet their songs, refrain their whirring. The weather might cooperate, other times it does not. Now that I’m older, I see faces awash in conceited needs. Even flowers on graves need rain. © 2022 Sami KhalilFeatured Review
