God help us all...

The Zoo and The Oasis         by Sami Khalil

 

The “Bear” is out of the zoo.

All hell broke loose.

The zookeeper fled for safety.

People are terrified madly.

The “Bald Eagle” came to the rescue.

Amassed many birds of prey to join.

Lives, black Gold and funny gas are at stake.

The “Lion” on its two feet is worried about

a dying empire and an aging queen.

The “Dragon” is dancing all the way

to the bank. It wants to devour

a precious neighbor in due time.

The “Leopard” might cross the hot desert.

Hellfire and brimstones are awaiting

their mortals’ firewood.

I spy humans out of the zoo

looking for an oasis.

The metaphors here were really amazing. Wow, the fierceness and honest and commentary on here is amazing. And accurate. It’s so scary that people even more dangerous than a pack of wild animals are on the loose with so much endless power. Nice metaphors for the present chaos in this world, each animal or bird representing a different nationality. It will take a fine zoo keeper to catch this bear and put him away. However you being King Sami should have contacts to save the world,King Sami. I heard Putin quotes poetry like from poems of R.Kipling’s to come across as more intellectual than he is.maybe one of your fine writes may persuade him.
