SpringA Poem by Sami KhalilThe beauty of spring...Spring by
Sami Khalil In whiffs of spring foliage, In words of cheeky grins, In trills of playful notes, In meadows awaiting the sailed offing of horizons,
natant in dreams curled journeys away. In implosions, explosions of strangers’ feeble
dismays- fulgent eyes, startled faces, throbbing hearts. In joys extirped of ripened pains from the roots. In brides veiled with latent mists. In grimaced inflaming of silence, lest to disturb the
peace. All is lost. All is found. This prolific season; this
sacral inhabitant of lovers’ devotion. In silence melting like hot butter. In splashes of
fragility. In feelings bursting forth with love; this sheer bind
of divinity, sealed by virtuous kisses, palpable embraces, sometimes with risky
sighs. In lost notions of time-filled chincks through the
blinds. © 2020 Sami KhalilFeatured Review
