Aimlessly PonderingA Poem by Sami KhalilMeaning of love...Aimlessly Pondering by Sami Khalil Surely…I have called you, faint of speech. Timidly, you answered. You gasped for devotion: “For no compunctious heart is ever true unless
repentance follows in surcease.” Surely…I have called you, by a commanding voice. You intertwined with commiseration: “The heart knows its pursuits and does not mislabel its
true feelings.” Surely…I have untitled you, at foreboding intervals.
You mulled over the notions: “Love is no careless employ. It is a skyward self-vanishing. It is a restless Earth quaking, a living-loving in
boundless waking, birds’ singing, roses blooming, night
watching, Nature pondering, incessant musing, joy sourcing,
light gleaming, treasure apportioning." Surely…You have your misgivings. You rendered me deafly unbecoming…aimlessly
pondering! © 2020 Sami KhalilReviews
