You have a knack of offering phrases which make one think due to the syntax and the context and meaning. the voice in this is a questioning one and I guess most of us are still musing as to the true nature and construct of love.

I love your title. I'm reminded of Rob Trakofler (Bad Bunny) in two ways -- he has a fun habit of putting up a "no pondering" sign in interesting scenarios & then posting these different pictures he takes -- & also your use of complex language & construction -- similar to his style, in spots. I honestly cannot understand your overall message here, even tho I can follow the tenets you lay out at the start of each verse & I love the way you do that -- "faint of speech"/"commanding voice". I guess I'm not sure about the quotation marks . . . Are these quotations, as written by someone other than yourself? Or are they quotations to emphasize your own words? Sorry I'm so clueless. Maybe I need more coffee. It's not even light yet this morning! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

The heart knows what the heart wants. The music the heart sings when love is found is truly amazing, life changing and challenging. You’ve wrapped these deep feelings as emotions up in a bow Sami and presented them beautifully. Thank you 🙏🏻

I agree Sami.
“Love is no careless employ. It is a skyward self-vanishing.
It is a restless Earth quaking, a living-loving in boundless
waking, birds’ singing, roses blooming, night watching,
Nature pondering, incessant musing, joy sourcing, light
gleaming, treasure apportioning."
The above lines could stand alone. Wonderful poetry for love shared.

“The heart knows its pursuits and does not mislabel its true feelings.”
At times my mind question my heart, in my pursuit in all equally balance, i tend to forget what the heart really wants, the heart and mind communicate but at times they are both conflicted, i guess the culprit are the love that doesn't speak or we cage ourselves too much to societys needs.
Sigh.. Life is like that at times, the title itself question made me ponder, when, when does a poet stops in his or her endless pondering.... I guess its a constant as the universe.... Wonderful work, brother...

The simple romantic ways are slowly coming back. Songs like "Let me call you Sweetheart"
seemed to be romantic back in the day. Even so, it can be a bit "rocky" along the way. Poetry is a beautiful way to transport others and yourself to an Island or A Star, and all the romantic rendezvous.
You make me blush in the hush of Lullabies. truly, Pat
