I went straight to the great use of line "hormonal trust" -
I don't know why it's intriguing to me but this dance alone is magnetic & almost felt like I was dancing along with each line -- cheers for another radly penned piece Sami

wonderful choreography. your words and imagery sway with a deep wisdom.
classic -
To say you dance,
says you put things in their natural contexts, in un-mutable
pearls of wisdom, fusing courage and fear as opposites on
contentment benches.
wonderful piece. thanks for allowing me to cut in ... :)

I love how your poem starts out a little lighter & then grows more passionate as it goes along, but then it ends on one wistful note, so hopeful & so unlike the rest of your message. I felt this as the kind of person who starts out shy, then grows some bluster as he gets warmed up to the idea of persuading, but then shrinks back into shyness again when he wakes up from his blustery spiel & remembers he's actually trying to ask for this long-desired intimacy. Your various definitions of "dance" remind me of a favorite song by Neil Young "Harvest Moon" . . . "I long to see you dance again" . . . I see this song as dancing one's life with spunk, as if coming back alive after being dormant in some ways . . . & your poem has a similar vein (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I adore this Sami. Happy feet, oh yes, there is such happiness in dance, and as you say, such freedom of inclusion is not nuanced by the fickle fancy of spineless feet or fading nights.
This is a celebration of life itself, of the joys of freedom and liberty, and so very well written.
Beccy.

I even do it alone at home when my jam comes on the radio, I dance my one man show lol but yes I love dance so he I would give a chance. For when dancing when swaying , the freedom of inclusion is not nuanced by the fickle fancy of spineless feet or fading nights, I love these lines! :) brilliant

this is my knid of dance Sami.... no bounds or boundries, hell you don't even need music to flow and sway.... but Bowie sang once, "let's dance, put on your blue shoes and dance the night away".... or Daft Punk invited "everyone on the dance floor".... but the best kind of dance is the romantic dance of two lovers entwined and meshing rhythmically, swaying to the beating hearts..... we humans just love to dance Sami and as you noted, "to dance is flattery to life".... nicely done and very very romantic....
