Say hello to the Blue Ridge mountains,

to the cloud drifting fountains.

The view is spectacular, no words

in the vernacular, to describe,

but to inscribe love and beauty

when nature calls upon its duty.

Oh, what a trip to take,

which pilgrimages to make.

You fill my heart with gladness,

hence my heart overflows with sadness.

To our credit, who ever loves life,

partake not in meaningless strife

but lives to the fullest in hope surest.

A dear friend is on the way to Ashville, NC to visit the Biltmore mansion and pass by the Blue Ridge mountains. I have done that before. I wrote this on the fly as a gift for him.
