That's AMAZING Sami! "through selfless feasts!" YES! Greed only brought mankind disasters, and aren't all of us, soldiers, rulers, poets...all but HUMANS? that we all should flourish through "selflessness" through giving? though a short piece but holds a great message and value to our world and humaneness, if only all can listen and act to it!

Sammy, there is so much wisdom in your words, my friend. This world would be in a wonderful space if people lived with selflessness. But many people do try but go about it the wrong way. To change is not to use the mind. you'll get there for a while then you find that beneath this change you might scratch the surface and find thins jut the way they were before. The only way to really change is to find out who you are. Once you have found yourself Changes will come automatically. that's the way it goes. I enjoyed your poem, my friend, sorry I had to put my own wisdom down. All the best, my friend...Peter

The self is part of the whole . Awareness of the self is part and parcel of the awareness of the whole. In religious terms or in my belief , we are all created from a single soul. To find your true self is to connect with The Creator, The Originator and His creation. To worship Him and serve others , will create the dynamic unity and peace away from the selfish wants and desires in the mundane pursuits. Love, compassion and selfless acts will fulfill His Will. My belief , with all do respect, is God centered and not self- centered as some Eastern Philosophies. Only when we submit our will, align it with His Good Will, will we ever find joy and peace... The Spirit of God pervades all and everything He created. The more you are in The Spirit, the more the realization of oneness.
Not preaching, but I believe.
Two main things; Submit to the Will of God, Connect to His Spirit in all things. They will lead to doing His Good Will in The heavens and on Earth. Man always fails in history to do these things in pursuit of self-centered ways. Always without regard to God or others.
In this poem, it tells us as humanity, which we are soldiers, how to march better and to a unified rhythm, how to be more willing to serve if you want to lead, how to be more passionate about nature and arts, how to sacrifice our ego and selfish pursuits in selfless deeds.
Thank you kindly and may The Great Spirit bless you and all.

You so often find wisdom in brevity (still learning, me), Sami. You say the obvious but wrap it in clever word webs so readers have to focus, notice, make sense... or should, indeed. We shouldl take care; should be far more aware of individual acts of respect t'ward places and persons before they
fade into a dark hole. Think what's disappeared in our past twenty five years, how the world's altering. How .. where has become what? and why and when isn't far away. Selfless feats should become the norm before we lose out on the precious. This really is more a warning than inspiration.. or, the opposite depending on how one looks.

It's been a while. Succinct, impactful, and nicely said. If we aren't willing to grow and change then we cannot become better ... and sameness is complacency, a waste of the gifts we are given ...

Great wisdom shared my friend. If our leaders lead with concern, kindness and they listen to the people. A better world it would be. Thank you Sami for sharing the outstanding poetry.
