The Cosmic GunBy Sami Khalil

Friday the 13! The lustrous sun beamed its last rays of the day untethered.

It was a darkened night engulfed by zooming meteors; the messengers of the

 sky.

A lonely outcast (A mad scientist) shuddered for a minute, while chewing the

cud of uncertainty. He had succeeded in producing a “Cosmic Gun” so to

perturb the order of our universe, ultimately killing God in the process, whom

he blamed for all man’s problems, with religion at their helm.

Humanity had suffered enough, adding also that his parent’s death was not

trouble free. Wars, disease and mayhem define our history in times past, and

all should be blamed on this Mighty Being, sitting on His throne, above the

seven heavens (Multi universe), guarded by untold number of angels and jinn.

He thought that by doing so (Killing God), all religions will perish and evaporate

into thin air and humanity will be saved from suffering upon a godless Earth,

 which had become solemn, unbearable.

Wearing a veneer of confidence, inaugurating the stumbling across the idea of

altered light (Light shift technology), since God is Spirit and Light, he imagined

the opposite will affect His personhood, ending in His demise, so he believed.

He also believed that “The tree of the knowledge of good and evil” is the

knowing of this mysterious energy he just discovered.

This mad physicist had been studying the works of the greats and their

contributions to the energy field and how to harness them after all.

His quest is finally at hand, churning the forces of the vast universe. If our

forbearers would witness this marvel of science verses religion, they would be

 titled “The finest audience.”

Time is ripe for execution and testing! Like a disembodied ghost-like, he

pointed the “Cosmic Gun” towards the heavens and kept firing in a very

ostensible form of waves upon waves.

At speeds faster than light, feeling the shiver of the hands, he pierced the

heavens, which opened up his drifting eyes, so he could see the carnage to

 follow.

One by one, angels and jinn were falling by the wayside, disintegrating into

cosmic dust, filling the void. He struck this benevolent Deity many times at the

center, who stumbled from the throne, incurring death upon Him. His

intellectual acuity had paid off finally for this God is no more.

There was dread over the whole universe for Satan had stepped in to take

charge, fulfilling his eternal dream. He instantly enslaved all humanity,

ordering to worship him day and night, making offerings to his power and

 wrath.

Dreary thoughts enthroned the present and the vanquished. Everyone had lost

themselves to the shadows of doom. Unspeakable were the trails of sinister

 tragedies upon humanity.

Evil played mind tricks, dragging the inhabitants down a universal curse.

Darkness surged tremendously, lording over the ruins of misery. All wandered

through the desolate trails of death, doomed in its heritage. Even winds

brought with forlorn winds, oblivion to the forgotten souls. Eagles sought

shelter in anguished hearts, for nothing sustained hope in the least.

Satan; the Thief of peace, the Impaler of hope and the Overlord of all evil, had

taken all sorts of draconic actions, stripping all of their God-given free will,

echoing the gloom of the lifeless prisoners in hellish cacophonies.

People were praying to go back to the “old order”, for at least they had the

precious “free will” that hold permanence over all things in closing arguments.

Thousands of years had passed and the universes had descended into the abyss

of evil, worshiping the king of anguish, going berserk.

“The man who killed God,” was the parlance of the multitudes who blamed him

 for all their misery now.

The nightmare was unbearable along with the guilt, when he awoke from its

visage in trembling fears, sweating profusely.

He praised God saying: “May God prevail, may His justice prevail.”

Don't blame God(Humans are good at the blame game) but blame yourselves for He gave us a wonderful gift(Free Will) after bestowing "life" in us and elevating us above all of His creation. Satan rebelled to that losing God's favor out of rebellion, jealousy and spite and from that instance he became man's eternal enemy that knows our weak points and influences us through whispering to do evil things to us and others. Some succumb and some hold fast to righteousness. A never ending battle of the ages till judgment day. The story of Job illustrates the point where Satan wants man to blame and curse God.

Wow! True and true. Thank you so much Crying Kate for all. God bless.
Hey Sami you aced all poetry with this story of yours,my friend. I enjoyed every word of it. In jy mind neither god nor science has can control an intelligent man. God in my opinion from from the imagination of whoever dished it up. Religion is sparked off by the yearning for power from the many who would definitely want us to stick to their story and be controlled like the masses are today. Most of science is given to us as the truth when often they are proved wrong. The only way we can find the truth and live in peace is to take the way of self enquiry, and throw away all the superstitions that are thrown at us through the brainwashing put upon us as small children. I enjoyed your poem mate. It was jolly good read. thank you for the share, my friend.....Peter

I agree that humans should not blame God for the World's problems since God is not the ruler of the world. Satan is. 1 John 5:19 says that.

I hate living under Satan's rule because there are so many bad things happening in the world today including violence, crime, poverty, etc...judgment day is soon approaching. I cannot wait for that day.

Thank you for sharing your story.
