Fire Mosaics

Fire Mosaics

A Poem by Sami Khalil
"

A one spark for all else.

"

It Takes a spark

When of late time, I realize

That smallest of sparks start

Flames that scurry far away

In updrafts of fire mosaics

It tugs within my inner heart

A harness of Stoic silence

So hushed to span life’s size.

Sometimes the smallest thing gets bigger and bigger, sometimes the big thing fades and fades until it becomes the smallest thing, the smallest part, the smallest feeling, like it's barely exists, I think of Love and its spark reading Your words, how it stars, and how it might ends, then I think with Your last lines of one's solitude, when silence is speaking with the true value of life, and the mind is composing pieces all together to give true measure of life... profound and interesting poem, thank You*

In any situation in life or nature to spark things and the imagination.
Some thoughts that came to me in light of California's fires.
