'Presence'
Sami Khalil,
This was introspection and the question of what, who, why, when, where all rolled into one. I have always wondered about dream for instance. Even in sleep we are conscious and living within our night visions. Another thing interesting is the memories we carry of what was once as real as today. Well done! Humanity is complex and only a great God can be the creator of all.

do we all just think our existence, or do we really exist....what if we are all on some plane...and we are all just a projection of thoughts of minds.
deep poetry, Sami...allows us to cast our surmises into a pond of possibility...

Our thinking is receiving of information, analyzing and making sense of this reality based on the five or six senses we possess. We don't see the unseen world and emptiness but everything or all manifestation were generated from there. Everything has to have that void or empty space in between as you know. According to the Sufis, there is a universe within us. Very good questions great poet and I'm glad you asked, and I thank you for all.
Introspective and philosophical, your words cast a calm on the reader. Sami, this one should be read while burning incense and listening to sitar music! Loved it. Lydi**

Have a great New Year.
this truly is peace, tranquility, and the essence of spirituality - one in being with the self. i imagine this to open the door to the presence & knowledge of the almighty - putting self aside. very open, contemplative and cathartic. very skillfully painted (both words and image) ...

All true and well spoken. Thank you so much Pete for taking the time and effort. Happy New Year.
Your words brought this to mind: “There is no effort that we can make to still ourselves. True stillness comes naturally from moments of solitude where we allow our minds to settle. Just as water seeks its own level, the mind will gravitate toward the holy. Muddy water will become clear if allowed to stand undisturbed, and so too will the mind become clear if it is allowed to be still.”

I can’t take ownership of those words, they come as a result of reading the Tao Te Ching
Your enthusiastic explanation here sums up my life goal for the last ten years or so, especially since moving to the solitude of the boondocks to embark on a healing journey. So much noise coming at people from a million avenues of media, plus all the noise inside everyone's heads, I find that I do better surrounded by nature & dogs . . . much more peaceful & in the moment *smile* (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Emptiness.
We feed our material body with material food.
What do we feed to the non matter that is the real us is the question. Or perhaps, we do not realky know what we really are that we do not know what to feed our real us, and so we feel that emptiness endlessly...
i am delighted to be here, reading you again my friend. ❤
