Welkin's Sun

Welkins’ Sun/…By Sami Khalil

Delightful mornings with the sun…

Onward riseth the fair warmth of a nestled morning sun

Tuneful to suited birds, ladled with merriment and song

Swathed in aura and radiant beams and in lumbered pace

From whence to bide new hopes aglow, and darkness shun.

How gracefully we walketh in heavenly abundance of light

In pure arrays without ire and not to parry thy fiery sword

Whilst frothing clouds dissipate, languishing in wanderlust

To which prim and proper upon quaint hills and deserts flight.

Onward riseth praise proper and yearnings for waning thrones

But those who hath an undying light in moments ascendeth high

Hearkening to knowledge of truth when days of yore weareth not

Shall inheriteth true wealth, beckoning wisdom amid milestones.

truly a magical time as a new day is born and becomes reality. terrific imagery of its splendor. fantastic pic. never disappointed by the Shakespearean wording. a veritable sonnet to the sun where hope begins and all becomes illuminated in its warmth ...

i have a brand new way to watch the sun rise thanks to your poem Sami! Nestled! i think the perspective is universe big ..God's hands offering to all one more glorious morning
i am familiar with prim ...but can only find meaning for prom as the high school dance ..pretty sure that is not what you mean here ..:?
"Morning ha Broken" by Cat Stevens certainly comes to mind with this one
your language always demands i read several times ..and once, at least, out loud .. this is no exception .. i am left with the sun rising and spiritual wisdom and well being for acknowledging what is really important .. so...well done says i! inspiring and perfect with my morning coffee!

This really makes me come again and again. I read it loud a ton times. And really, I feel like mimicking your style!! It's out of the blue!
One of my favourites 😊

Sun light is like knowledge, it makes things more brighter, give clarity to few which can be confused in darkness, writers can be like small suns throwing light to different areas of attention, politicians can be sun beams too, in general majority likes sun over darkness and milder moon light, very picturesque writing and with hidden agenda as inner and outer light, excellent job.

This piece is a burst of happiness
And utter beauty
I watch the sun go up almost everyday
Fills me hope

A very positive piece
Keep up the good work !!

This morning, on which Friday rest, when I take Jackson my dog of 5 years hence, we shall look upon that sun you keep and know Sami how you share the deep.

Regards,
Al

Very impressive. This writing is more advanced than my reading level, but I waded through it slowly. Still it was a delight to read. Thanks for sharing.

I am speechless by the beauty and depth of this write, Sir.
I dig into this. The light is light whether it is outside or within us..you just need to realize it's magic and value.
This is really inspiring. Excellent usage of vocabulary...really really beautiful one, sir :-)
