A free verse sonnet. Does not follow any meter. Just my ears.

Romance at any mature age and level of wisdom...In the mood for the classics

==============================================================================================
Declareth I, declareth to thee manifest love
With runnels of gentle sweat running forth
And countenance of our meandering grace
Pouring of honeyed words, proving a worth.
This whip-lashed susurration never abates
Vividly dreams becometh a master witness
The panoply of resilience and florid enigma
Unsoiling the sunsets of life and its fitness.
Declareth I with veneration and delectation
I love thee with truest of perplexed sagacity
Thine beauty filleth mine tremulous heart
By pervading affection, thine own vivacity.
Declareth I whilst surreal skies may conjure
Days ahead when weary would fain treasure.

Dramatic, and lovely -- in the spirit of the classics.
Minor suggestion -- perhaps the first line was copied in a different font accidentally? This program often does that. Also -- provingly worth, perhaps is simply proving worth, or proving worthy?

Oh my goodness...your language is so lush, and melodic, Sami. Reading it is like basking in its afterglow. Gorgeous...absolutely!

The panoply of resilience and florid enigma"

Summoning the essence, the poetic portrait that is.
This piece is all word play, in a captivating sense.

I could swim in your words a forthright, allow the grace of your soul to squeeze the cells of my heart.

Wonderous!

Al

So very eloquent; your word choice is arcane, but a perfect match to the emotion engendered as I read these lines.

Very much enjoyed Sami.

Beccy.
