Places..Of The Heart/By Sami Khalil

A sad romance poem.

There lie...Places of the heart

Where orphaned words live domestic lives.

Neither fine fettles nor sacred texts dwell, except in postponed tomorrows.

Chaotic, perhaps, but the fleeting scenes

Are skillfully scripted among desultory

 apprehensions and frailty of echoes.

Intact, perhaps, but enough miswords can carry lovers’ diction down

The road of doltish broken heartedness, providing their own translations.

There lie…places of the heart

Where critics puzzle over the avant-garde of our blueness separations

 and recognitions of cherished memories.

Where strangers sleep through introductions and amble down the river banks of silence.

There, “being” is a mere concept exploring the voiced firsts of exhibits and undulations of images.

There lie…My heart and my fugitive soul

Waiting for you…My love!

A poem that paints a picture what a heart a normal person possess, this is what I can say in simple words.

The poem is very excellent. It is the first romantic poem I liked the most. The way you have written about the residing misconceptions, fear of strangers and effect of their words in our heart at some places and regarding the area where the essence of love is present as true heart is touching, touching to the bottom of the heart.

And in the last lines the way you have mentioned that how that true heart gives us freedom from those fears and misconceptions or provides us a place to hide ourselves depicts reality.

Your whole poem, it's every line is so deep and consists of t he essence of true romance.

Amazing write. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful piece with all of us.:).....

This is a writer's work. I know, what should be expected. "Where orphaned words.."
"...the avaunt-garde of our blueness seperation..."

Love this one.

Sami,
My review would do no justice to the words you have written, only that I have shelved this masterful piece into my library of favorites, because the places of your heart is a work of perfection.
Bravo!
