Speaking of…

That silent sailor

Sailing upon dark notes

Owing its debt to the sun

Beaming in complexions of castaways

Slitting darkness till the last border lines

When the serene wheels of dawn prayers turn.

 

Speaking of…

The only progeny

To the first virgin mother

Land of eventual wanderings

Fusing waves of textured people

To colors of clay and clod belongings

Where anthems translate patois of flooded stragglers.

 

Speaking of…

This petticoat companion

That night ferry in the inky sky

Languishing in cardered memories

Of travelers clad in restive seasons

Under the silvery shafts of starry lights

Where the ticking clock on the horizon kindles images.

 

Speaking of…

Those who are cleaved between the heart and the moon.

This is exquisite. The gentleness of tone and the way the words flow have a timeless, classic feel. This could have been written two hundred years ago by one of the great English Romantics. The last full stanza in particular is absolutely stand out in my opinion.

Speaking of brilliant, mystical magic flowing across the page in gentle waves of beauty, elegance, and style--that is what this is Sami.. the imagery alone is stunning, but the phrasing, the deeper meaning, and the dang alliteration tickles as well.. it is layer upon layer of captivating spiritual, physical, and emotional bliss.. the silent lonely sailor that sways and shines in all of its beauty and splendor ever waiting, watching, wanting...

"Of travelers clad in restive seasons
Under the silvery shafts of starry lights
Where the ticking clock on the horizon kindles images."...... this is breathtaking to me.. in construction, phrasing, meaning, and imagery.... you blow me away every time Sami... wheeeew..

That land of wanderings holds such wonder for those of us caught between the heart and the moon... it is up to us to see it, understand it, and appreciate it... amazing as always my friend..
