Deadly words of love

Deadly Words /......... by Sami Khalil

...................................................................

( A sort of contemplations on love )

At last, I leave it to our fate finding what is in store

for us, for I have given up on the world but not on you,

where I can feel the desire in your voice and the resistance

in your heart.

I don’t need much talent to tell you:"I love you",

I need more courage and self-esteem.

Then, if you feel my words are out of place,

do know that my feelings are in the right one

for so many words are profoundly deadly, but the words

of love, they give life to the dead.

And as delicate as you are in the wind,

you are the strength in my heart and the compass

to my lonely flight.

Knowing that everything has many impacts,

I attest that the impact of love is either death or bliss.

So please, let all stars collide tonight sparing my light, of love

reaching out to touch me before I melt into those eyes.

Embrace me either way,

for as love embraces us in his arms,

we embrace love in our acceptance.

I would rather lose all lonely nights and not

a single dream of you.

It strikes me how you compete with nature,

always winning  in the end.

And it strikes the world how,

releasing my pain, it makes me win and gain.

Oh, beloved, between the ocean and I,

between a sunset dressed in amber,

and a night dressed in dreams, I feel the fire and thirst.

For neither the ocean nor the nights can quench

a thirst or a fire, but you.

And if fire awakens darkened souls,

your love awakens sleepy hearts.

between a sunset dressed in amber,

and a night dressed in dreams, I feel the fire and thirst." love this.
