Never Forever

I wish you'd be my man.

I wish you'd hold me hand.

I wish you 'd call me at 3 in the morning

just so you could here my voice

and you would say:

"Everytime I look at her

I see you in her eyes.

and when you walk by me

you light me up like a thousand fireflies."

 

The football team made the winning score

and I thought you were the one

but you closed my heart down like a bedroom door

and then i thought my thoughts were done.

You always give me that look

it's your eyes that are so sorrowful

it's like reading my favorite book

and your the character that's all powerful.

 

I know it will never be

but in my heart I will always see

you and me, together forever.

We'll have our first kiss.

Our first date will be a disaster

but it won't matter,

because you'll get down on one knee

and put a ring around my finger.

we're together forever to me.
