Ode to a FriendA Poem by Samantha LynnYou remind me of flowers in a meadow, colors intertwine within each other against the starch soil. Here there is no road I know of, nor is there a single dirt path found by the repetitive
walks of other humans. When the sun shines down upon you, the warmth of those rays reach down into your solid core. Those rays reach past the color, past the pollen, through
and through over to the other side of this field. The warm sun casts shadows as the sun crosses the sky to the other half of the world. The shadows the trees emit, dance together with the sun’s afterglow. They twirl around in circles together forever through the
night. © 2016 Samantha LynnReviews
