The loop of my Nightmare

It seemed like the more I tried to get to you,

the farther away from me you got.

I remember just wanting to fix all that I messed up.

I just wanted to apologize to you,

but you kept running from me,

a look on your face

that told me how afraid you were of me.

I wouldn’t blame you.

I mean, I did screw things up big time,

but I just wanted to apologize.

Come back!!

All I need to do is a apologize,

please.

Just one apology, and then I am gone.

I need to fix this,

before  the repeating dream

of you running away from me,

the dream on a constant loop

all throughout the night,

continues one more time.

It makes me not want to sleep at night.

It is turning my dreams into reality,

and my reality into dreams.

At least when I am awake,

I can tell that my reality is real.

When I am dreaming this dream,

the dream feels like reality.

Please let me fix this.

The loop is driving me crazier than I was before.

this poem turned into a rambling poem. I'm sorry it's not the best, but the words needed to get out of my head, ya know? lol Enjoy :) Please tell me what you think, because I need to pick some poems for a creative writing class and I am totally stuck because idk what is good and what is bad. ugh

My dreams have been very wild and crazy lately. Maybe less coffee and food before sleep is needed. I like the poem. Those loops can make us become loco. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
