My Contradictions of life.

My Contradictions of life.

A Poem by Samantha Lynn

I like being hungry, just like I also love to eat.
It is kind of like I love the feeling of being full,
but I also love the feeling of emptiness to the point of nausea.
I like being happy, but I love being sad as well,
The sadness leaving me empty, but the little happiness I do get filling up those empty spots.
My emotions give me a life of contractions that complete me,
and I am still wondering how that could be.

It's cool I interpret it like you love life, all the ups and the downs.

It's like, you can't have one without the other. You can't have happiness without sadness, you can't be full without being hungry first. It makes total sense. I like this one a lot.

A interesting poem. We do bounce back and fore with contradictions. Hard to know where we want to be and what we need. I enjoyed the thoughts create by the excellent poetry.
