NIGHTTIME WISHES

NIGHTTIME WISHES

A Poem by Salvatore Buttaci
"

Does the insect, the star, the tree, the human all share a common language within the core of us?

"

Bear with me, Ursa Major.

I know as much about the stars

As the stars know about me.

I have come clean

In my nighttime wishes;

I have told you everything

My words cannot express.

I have said my heart

In the dialect of stardust.
