A MOMENT LOSTA Poem by Salvatore ButtaciLove demands courage. Those who hesitate are truly lost.
This is where they froze us in time, on a ballroom floor, your waist warm against my hand, your ear nuzzled at my mouth, waltz time and promises suspended in the soundless. We who vacillated in love, what fugitives we have become, stilled in the between, incised beneath the surface of cold stone, an intaglio of blue dancers. © 2008 Salvatore Buttaci |
