pillarA Poem by samaveiled
pillar astounded,
i swim in your tears, unable to find you through this salty ocean. eyes, and unknown wounds burning i find the beach, i shake the water from my skin, and spot you. a piller of salt, dead dry decaying a form so very still, while the beach teems with life. so close to the shore you stand... i fill my pockets with this concentration of your tears. i scrape grains off, and catch them. wipe them off my clothes. sheilding my eyes from the sun, i lick my lips, tasting you still, and head to town to sell your misery. hungry, myself, for a savory treat. © 2008 samaveiled |
