solid

A Poem by samaveiled

i can feel you. trying to slip through the cracks. trying to slide back into me...but the cracks are filled with rough salt from the ocean  of my eyes. purifying my wounds. sealing you off from me. preserving every atom of my body, my soul. but still. i am holding my breath, waiting to see what happens next...the past is ashes, ive smeared across my face as warpaint...memory masking my face...i am finally safe. i am safe.

Good. I like your free flowing poems rather than the ones where you've tried to form your poems. The trick is to try to form the words of a poem the way you want your readers to read it. Adding periods and comas where you want a short pause between words or lines. Good start, though.
