your princess

your princess

A Poem by samaveiled

and so i remain.

all tangeled hair,

and bitten nails,

a princess,

turned peasent.

my skirts torn and frayed

on the thorns of truth

leaving a twisting

trail

to my heart.

the demons are laughing,

lapping up this blood

drunken with it.

as the desperation

is whispering

from behind my eyes,

and glowing through

my finger tips,

i know its all been in vain.
