storm

storm

A Poem by samaveiled

im angry.

a storm brews in my stomache,

all thunder and lightning

aching,

from my womb.

radiating need,

so i let it pour from my fingertips,

yet,

everytime i see you,

the ground drops from beneath me.

and i am grasping-...

theres only air rushing

through my fingers

 (theres no anchor.)

weak in the knees...

drowning in love!!!

but ,

DAMN IT!

i am angry.

hurt.

and you dont seem bothered

in the least.

and still...

everytime i see you

that portal to the

hurricane opens...

i cant help,

but hynopticly

waunder toward you.

(anger dissolving around me

into mist,)

disoriented, and blinded

im reaching,

searching,

for your fingers through the grey.

and somehow,

i always find them

waiting,

to pull me into

the arms of superficial safty.
