A Poem by Samantha
"

Haven't been here for a long time. Hoping to be able to manage to return again.

"

Disappearing for oh so long,

I return due to a song,

The patter of water itself,

Along, sang Nature herself.

Examination and application,

Ate away my determination,

Simplification and Complication,

For now, I say damnation.

I have been hounded,

By my mother,

I have been pounded,

By her blunt words.

Insisting that I must,

Start school in January,

Not more nor longer,

This she stress.

She claimed that,

I have sat too long,

Twiddling my thumbs,

And singing to many songs.

Wait could I do?

Only to wait and hope,

That the school accepts me quickly,

Lest I get caught to start working immediately.
